Can Aegisys host our existing Windows and Linux servers as-is?
Yes. We support Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), and Unix workloads on VPS, with next-gen firewalls, flexible resource allocation, and 24/7 management. In most cases we migrate your existing server — OS, applications, configs, and data — so it comes up the same, on hardened Canadian infrastructure.
How does backup and disaster recovery work with Aegisys cloud hosting?
Every hosted environment gets backed up with custom RTO/RPO targets set per client, and we test restores monthly. Disaster recovery and business continuity are built into the hosting stack, not sold as a separate add-on. You'll know your recovery objectives and see the test results in your monthly reporting.
Where exactly does our data live, and how do you prove Canadian residency?
All client data lives in our own data centres in Sudbury, Ontario — never replicated to a foreign jurisdiction.
